LOGISTEED, Ltd. is pleased to announce that its safety operation management solution "SSCV®-Safety," which aims for "zero accidents" through technology, has been certified as a "device contributing to the prevention of overwork driving in FY 2024" by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism　(MLIT) Accident Prevention Measures Support Promotion Project. As a result, SSCV-Safety has become eligible for the subsidy system for introduction by MLIT.

The Logistics and Automobile Bureau of MLIT is implementing "support for the introduction of devices contributing to the prevention of overwork driving" as an initiative to appropriately grasp the fatigue state of truck drivers and prevent accidents caused by overwork driving. Only products that are recognized as meeting the selection criteria set by MLIT are eligible for introduction support, and they are selected annually.
This time, SSCV-Safety, developed by our company, has been selected as a "device contributing to the prevention of overwork driving in FY 2024" as an "IT-based Remote Roll Call device (Remote Roll Call device)" and has been certified as a support target device. "Roll Call" is legally mandated to ensure the safety of drivers and must be implemented by all motor truck transportation business operators. MLIT is promoting the DX of operation management work with the aim of correcting labor shortages and long working hours in the logistics industry in recent years, and improving work efficiency. As one of these initiatives, "Remote Roll Call" is permitted only when certain criteria are met. Remote Roll Call is a Roll Call method that allows the operation manager and driver to conduct Roll Calls remotely using IT equipment, which would otherwise need to be conducted face-to-face.

SSCV-Safety's Remote Roll Call function is an addition to the basic function of SSCV-Safety, which can quantitatively grasp the physical condition and health status of drivers. It reduces the workload of both the operation manager and the driver, and supports the safety of drivers through Roll Calls based on objective data.
