It was our team of specialists, who successfully executed the on-rail transportation of power plant equipment for the first time in Europe as a Japanese logistics company. With the gigantic cargo weighing in at 440 tonnes, this project demanded a high level of engineering expertise, even for loading it onto the freight train. Working closely with the client from the first phase of the project onwards, we were able to design and execute the optimal plan for the situation.
After being dispatched from Japan, the huge cargo was unloaded at a port in Poland, before being transferred to its final destination, about 500 kilometres inland, by rail. Since trucking by road was tightly restricted and river transportation was not possible in this case, we decided to take on the challenge of being the first Japanese logistics company to transport power generation equipment by rail in Europe. We adopted a variety of measures, which allowed us to complete the project without incident.

For installation of the train loading attachment at the European port, we set up a dust-proof tent, and used a hydraulic lifter.
The on-rail transportation of the power generator (440t) was completed after four years of engineering work that followed the initial project planning stage.
