LOGISTEED Receives Special Award at the 24th Logistics Environment Awards

LOGISTEED, Ltd. (LD) received a special award at the 24th Logistics Environment Awards sponsored by the Japan Association for Logistics and Transport. This award was given to EcoLogiPortal (CO₂ emissions visualization service in the transportation domain of supply chain) which LD and our Group company, LOGISTEED Solutions, Ltd., jointly developed.

So far, it is required a lot of workload time to collect and aggregate data from various system, such as shipping details or operation information which are necessary for calculating CO₂ emissions. EcoLogiPortal enables to collects necessary data and calculate CO₂ by linking the system to LOGISTEED's IT infrastructure. Those data make it possible to visualize CO₂ emissions at various granularities, such as by region, shipping mode, and product category.

With these data, we obtain a broad view of CO₂ emissions in the customers’ transportation domain, and we propose the consideration and implementation of specific actions to reduce CO₂ emissions.
