Transportation of Monorail Carriages to the Middle East
When the Middle East's first-ever monorail system was brought to Dubai, it was LOGISTEED who was in charge of delivery of the carriages from Japan to the local site. Using our wealth of experience and advanced technology to cope with numerous challenges, we were able to complete the transportation project on time. In terms of the assembly work conducted at the local site, below please find how our patented installation method supported the project's success.
Project Details
Key Points
- Employed our patented dummy monorail carrying technique
- Assembly work was carried out on the ground, using the dummy rail
- By doing work on the ground that is ordinarily carried out up in the air, the work safety was greatly improved

Monorail carriage being carried in on the dummy rail
This installation technique of monorail carriages using dummy rails is patented by LOGISTEED.

Monorail assembly work on the dummy rail
Monorail assembly work, that had initially been planned to be carried out at an altitude of 17m above the ground, was instead done on a dummy track at ground-level, greatly improving the safety aspect of the work.

Lifting of integrated monorail using dummy rail
After attaching the vehicle body and installation device on the dummy track, the monorail was lifted onto the main line.
