Transportation of Railway Carriages to Europe

The transportation of railway carriages can be very complicated, with the risk of carriages "bending" or "warping" while being moved (especially if using a crane). In this project, which involved the transportation of exported railway carriages in Europe, we employed a crane-free, slide-unloading method, leading to reduced transportation costs, whilst also ensuring high quality was maintained.

Key Points

  • To ensure safety at the time of unloading, we selected a special trailer with railway tracks built onto its loading platform.
  • By using a temporary ramp when on the rails, a crane-free unloading became possible.
