LOGISTEED Introduces New Function to SSCV®-Safety
- Enabling Roll Call via IT Devices Regardless of G-Mark Status -

LOGISTEED, Ltd. is pleased to announce the addition of a "Remote Roll Call" function to our safety operation management solution, SSCV®-Safety. This new feature allows for the roll call of drivers at remote locations using IT devices.

Roll Call via IT Devices

Roll Call is mandated by law to ensure driver safety and must be conducted by all motor truck transportation business operators.　 Roll Call via IT Devices is a roll call system in which the roll call, which in principle must be conducted face-to-face by the operation manager and driver, is conducted between remote locations using IT equipment and systems that meet the requirements specified by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism.　 While "IT Roll Call" requires the use of certified devices and excellent safety management at the sales office level, such as obtaining the G-Mark*, the "Remote Roll Call" function relaxes these safety management performance requirements. By tightening the performance requirements of the devices and systems, it eliminates the need for G-Mark certification at the sales office level, allowing one operation manager to conduct roll call across a wider range of sales offices.

*G-Mark: A mark given only to motor truck transportation business operators certified as safety excellence business establishments by the Japan Trucking Association.

Roll Call Features of SSCV-Safety

The roll call features of SSCV-Safety now include the necessary functions for "Remote Roll Call," such as biometric authentication and driver enrollment register, in addition to the basic functions of SSCV-Safety, which quantitatively assess the driver's physical condition and health status.　 It also includes functions required for "IT Roll Call," such as alcohol checker linkage and video calls. 　This enables roll call from remote locations even at sales offices that have difficulty obtaining the G-mark, thereby reducing the workload for both operation managers and drivers.
