Submitted a commitment letter for obtaining SBT certification

LOGISTEED, Ltd. is pleased to announce that it has submitted a commitment letter to the SBT Initiative (SBTi) ^*1 to obtain certification under the Science Based Targets (SBT) ^*2, a greenhouse gas emission reduction target consistent with the levels required by the Paris Agreement^*3.

Under the corporate philosophy "to deliver high-quality services that will help make the world a better place for people and nature for generations to come," the LOGISTEED Group strives to achieve sustainable society.

*1SBTi is the international initiative jointly operated by four organizations: CDP, the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), the World Resources Institute (WRI), and the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF). This initiative independently evaluates corporate greenhouse gas reduction targets.

*2SBT is the greenhouse gas reduction target set by each company. The levels required by the Paris Agreement must be aligned.

*3The Paris Agreement is the international framework for climate change measures, which aims to keep the global temperature rise well below 2°C above pre-industrial levels and pursue efforts to limit the temperature increase to 1.5°C.
