Launching 3D Simulation Service for Warehouse Operations

LOGISTEED, Ltd. and one of our group companies, LOGISTEED Solutions, Ltd. are pleased to announce the launch of a 3D simulation service, starting on March 26, aimed at improving the efficiency and accuracy of warehouse operations.

In recent years, warehouse operations have become more automated and labor-saving due to the introduction of various material handling equipment. However, there are problems in the field, such as the increasing complexity of warehouse operations and the difficulty in grasping quantitatively the effects of daily improvement activities. This service leverages the simulation expertise our group has developed through 3PL services to provide comprehensive support for our customers, from the design of warehouse operations to improvement activities after the start of operations.

Service Overview

1．Pre-Operation Design Verification:
Recreate the warehouse operations designed by the customer in a digital space to identify bottlenecks and verify the performance of the equipment introduced before the warehouse launch.

2．Support for Improvement Activities:
Use statistical information accumulated from actual warehouse operations, such as worker walking speed, picking productivity, and material handling equipment processing capacity, along with volume data extracted from the customer's WMS (Warehouse Management System), to recreate human movements and equipment in a digital space. This allows for the planning and execution of improvement measures and the evaluation of their effectiveness in advance.
