PT. BERDIRI MATAHARI LOGISTIK Obtains Halal Certification for Import and Export Operations in Indonesia

LOGISTEED, Ltd. is pleased to announce that one of its group companies, PT. BERDIRI MATAHARI LOGISTIK (BML), has obtained Halal certification from the Indonesian Halal certification body, the Institute for Food, Drugs, and Cosmetics of the Indonesian Ulema Council (LPPOM-MUI).

In Indonesia, starting from October 2024, Halal certification has become mandatory for food and beverages distributed and traded domestically. It is expected that the range of items subject to this requirement will expand to various fields in the future. BML has obtained Halal certification for its sea and air import and export operations to and from Indonesia. Staff trained by the designated certification body will carry out logistics operations in accordance with the prescribed procedures under proper management aligned with Halal standards. This ensures the delivery of safe and reliable products in terms of quality and hygiene.
