57th National Truck Driver Contest
LOGISTEED Group’s Driver Wins 1st Place in the 4-ton Division

LOGISTEED, Ltd. is pleased to announce that, at the 57th National Truck Driver Contest held from October 25 to 26 (organized by the Japan Trucking Association), a driver from our group won 1st place in the 4-ton division.
The contest aims to raise safety awareness and to promote traffic accident prevention activities through competitions involving the high levels of driving skill required of professional truck drivers and their specialized knowledge of related laws, regulations, and vehicle structures. A total of 146 drivers who won their respective prefectural competitions competed in the contest, demonstrating the skills and knowledge they have cultivated in their daily work.
From LOGISTEED group, seven drivers participated (2 in the 4-ton truck, 2 in the 11-ton truck, and 3 in the trailer). In the 4-ton division, Mr. Hiroaki Nakagawa from LOGISTEED West Japan, Ltd. won first place with a total score of 994 points, and Mr. Kohei Kobayashi took 2nd place. In the 11-ton division, Mr. Tadahiko Shirasu from VANTEC CENTRAL LOGISTICS CORPORATION finished in 3rd place and received the Japan Trucking Association CEO Special Award which is presented to the highest-scoring driver among those aged 50 and over.
In order to raise awareness of safety, compliance with regulations, and improve the driving knowledge and skills of our drivers, our group has been participating in this event since its inception. We will continue our efforts to establish safe work practices and prevent workplace accidents.
